Agamalai is a tribal village with frequent rains and the remote of the Western Ghats. There are more than 10 remote tribal villages in the area, including Kannakkarai, Marudhayanur, Sokkarmalai, Pattoor, Patapampur, Decoration, etc. More than 500 people live in Agamalai. Various organic products are being cultivated here. These products have a unique demand over Tamil Nadu. There are 2 ways to get to Agamalai. One is the mountain road that passes from Bodi to Ulugurutti Road. The other is the road from Periyakulam to Sothuparai. This road and private jeeps are only available from Sothuparai to Agamalai. Dense forest areas. It is therefore transported to Agamalai by jeep and horses. There is a middle school in Agamalai. If you travel by road from Bodi to Agamalai, the Ulagurutti road is 15 km.
